Sheff & Cook Senior Partner Doug Sheff presented Nancy Lyons with the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorney’s Courageous Advocacy Award at the organization’s annual dinner yesterday evening in Boston.

In his remarks leading up to the presentation, Doug, former president of MATA, highlighted Nancy’s quiet but powerful legacy of determination and dedication. “She wasn’t driven at all by ambition or money, but rather simply by doing the right thing. And she did that no matter what,” Doug said. “…I hope the younger folks can appreciate and understand that we exist today because of people like Nancy. She embodies the heart and soul of this organization and everyone here, women and men alike, stand on her shoulders.”

The entire Sheff & Cook team would like to extend our congratulations to Nancy on this achievement!
